Both head coaches will meet with the Sun’s leadership this week for final Interviews, as the other 2 options are associate head coaches Kevin Young and Jordi Fernandez.
Nick is a favorite for the Phoenix job, and Milwaukee Bucks also had him in mind. Bucks had the former Raptors manager among the 3 finalists for the head coach position.
The Phoenix is looking to replace Monty Williams, who they dismissed after his franchise was eliminated in the West Conference ½ finals by Denver Nuggets. Suns had 2 of the best players in the league – Devin Booker and Kevin Durant and want to win the title with them.
