The Phoenix Suns have agreed to trade Kevin Durant to the Houston Rockets in an exchange of Jalen Green, Dillon Brooks, the 10th overall selection in the 2025 draft, and 5 2nd-round selections.
The trade will become official when the new NBA year starts on the 6th next month.
Kevin was interviewed on stage when the news about his trade became public, and he was asked to give his 1st reaction about that: “We are going to see,” shared Kevin.

In addition to receiving 2 starters from the 2nd seed in the West Conference and this year’s 1st-round selection, the 5 2nd-round selections headed to Phoenix are from this year, next year, and 2030.
Durant will hope to be in a contender as he wants to win another ring, as he will be the face of the Rockets alongside 2025 All-Star Alperen Sengun, rising 2-way force Amen Thompson, and veteran guard Fred VanVleet.
The Rockets won 52 matches in the regular campaign under manager Ime Udoka this season.
Kevin wanted to continue his career in the NBA, either in Houston, Miami, or San Antonio. That means that Durant will be happy that he will play in one of his preferred teams.
