Oscar, who had 31 points at the top ahead of his McLaren teammate, was mad after the incident. The episode that forced him out of the race happened at Turn 5 when he struck the wall, as that meant that his series of 34 races in which he won points had ended.

“I’m very sorry about what happened,” shared the Formula 1 championship leader on the radio after he crashed out, and then he left the car.
Lando Norris started from the 7th position and will try to climb as high as possible until the end of the race in Baku to get as close as possible to his teammate in the standings, to make the upcoming races even more interesting, and to bring the pressure to Oscar.
