Oscar Piastri secured his 1st victory of his Formula 1 career, but only after McLaren teammate Lando Norris obeyed a team order to let him overcome him with 2 laps until the end.
McLaren spent the final laps of the Hungarian Grand Prix pleading with Lando to slow down and move over after he had secured the lead because of the timing of his 1st pit-stop.

Lando had stopped before Oscar, who had beaten him for the 1st place on the run down to Turn 1 because the team were worried about the chance of Lewis Hamilton getting ahead of them.
For a very long time it seemed like Lando would not let his teammate to get the lead and the TV feed provided 15 laps of remarkable exchanges between Norris and McLaren race engineer. His race engineer even told Lando that he believes that he would do the right thing and to remember the meeting each Sunday between them.
That makes the next race at the Belgian GP very intriguing about what will happen with McLaren after today’s episode.
