The new format of the match drew mixed reviews.

The new competition format for the NBA All-Star Game drew mixed opinions, with basketballers being unhappy with the pause during and between the matches.

The league tried something new with a 4-team that played ½ finals and who scored 40 points 1st win. Basketballers were happy that the All-Star Game became more competitive this way, but the games were stopped too many times for different kinds of entertainment.

“To say what I really think, I didn’t like the new format,” shared Trae Young. The matches were short, and to make the product longer, we had too many breaks.”

The final between had a break of almost half an hour due to a tribute to the TNT broadcast crew as Shaq’s veteran-laden team with Curry, Tatum, and Durant triumphed against Chuck’s squad of international stars like Jokic and Wembanyama.

“I prefer to compete without breaks,” Shai claimed after the match. “But I enjoyed the event and that it became more competitive than in the past few years.”

Steph, who notched 12 points in the championship match and secured the All-Star Game MVP, revealed that it is better than last year.
