Precious Achiuwa is heading back to where his NBA journey began five years ago. The free agent center/forward has agreed to a one-year deal with the Miami Heat, sources told ESPN.
Selected by Miami with the 20th overall pick in the 2020 NBA Draft, Achiuwa reunites with the franchise after successful stints with the Toronto Raptors and New York Knicks. His return comes as the Heat continue their search for added size in the frontcourt to support All-Star big man Bam Adebayo.

Achiuwa first left Miami in 2021, when the Raptors acquired him alongside Goran Dragic in the sign-and-trade deal that sent veteran guard Kyle Lowry to the Heat. Since then, he appeared in 320 career games and averaging 7.6 points and 5.7 rebounds.
