Knicks enter the game on a blistering six-game winning streak

The Brooklyn Nets (34-27) will be looking to break their three-game losing streak with a win against New York Knicks (36-27) in the Big Apple battle at Madison Square Garden on Wednesday.

The Knicks are coming off a 109-94 home win over the Boston Celtics on Monday with Julius Randle leading New York with 23 points on 7-of-16 shooting, seven rebounds and four assists, in 36 minutes.

Immanuel Quckley finished with 23 points, three rebounds, two assists and a steal, while Jalen Brunson added 17 points, four rebounds, three assists and a steal.

New York shot 47.4 percent from the field, including 12-of-31 from long range.

The Knicks (25-16 against Eastern Conference teams) have been one of the hottest teams in the league of late and enters this game on a blistering six-game winning streak.

The Nets are coming off a 118-104 home loss against the Milwaukee Bucks on Tuesday.

Mikal Bridges led the way for Brooklyn in the loss, as he finished with a team-high 31 points while also adding five assists, two rebounds and two steals, while Spencer Dinwiddie chipped in with 26 points, eight assists, six rebounds and one steal.

Cameron Johnson recorded 19 points and seven rebounds, but he also added four steals. No other Brooklyn player scored in double digits in this loss.

The Nets have been slumping of late, and they enter this game on a three-game losing streak while dropping five of their last six contests.

Edmond Sumner (personal) and Ben Simmons (knee injury) will miss the game.

The teams meet for the fourth time this season. The Knicks won 124-106 in the last meeting on Feb. 14. Jalen Brunson led the Knicks with 40 points, and Spencer Dinwiddie led the Nets with 28 points.
