Spanish state prosecutors have demanded Los Blancos boss Carlo Ancelotti be jailed for 4 years and 9 months for the Italian’s alleged defrauding of the country’s tax office.
The Spanish Public Prosecutors Office are seeking a four year and nine month prison sentence for Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti for his alleged involvement in tax fraud.

Madrid’s regional state prosecutor accused Carlo today of 2 counts of tax fraud from 2014 to 2015 regarding his income from image rights, which totaled over 1 million euros.
The Italian became Real Madrid’s manager in 2013 before being fired in 2015.
The ex-Chelsea and Milan manager returned to Los Blancos in the summer of 2021. Carlo inked a new deal with the club until the summer of 2026.
Several footballers and managers have been probed by Spanish tax authorities over the last 12 years, often for earning from image rights.
In 2016, Barcelona superstar Leo Messi was convicted of tax fraud and handed a fine to avoid almost 2-year jail time.
Cristiano Ronaldo pleaded guilty to fraud a few years ago and paid a 19 million euro fine.
