Paris Saint-Germain secured their place in the Champions League final with a composed 2-1 victory over Arsenal in the second leg of the semi-finals, sealing a 3-1 win on aggregate.
PSG will now face Inter in the final in Munich, marking the French club’s second appearance in the tournament’s decisive match in the last five years.
The match in Paris began with intensity from both sides, but it was PSG who created the first significant chance in the 23rd minute.
A costly error from Jakub Kiwior in midfield allowed Bradley Barcola to spark a swift counterattack. Barcola set up Desiree Due, but the youngster’s effort lacked power and was comfortably handled by David Raya.
Just four minutes later, the Parisians struck first. A free-kick from the right side led to a defensive mishap from Thomas Partey, whose attempted header clearance dropped straight to Fabian Ruiz. The Spanish midfielder took advantage, escaping Gabriel Martinelli and unleashing a fierce left-footed volley that beat Raya and gave PSG the lead.

The hosts intensified their pressure after the break, and in the 66th minute, a handball by Myles Lewis-Skelly prompted referee Felix Zwayer to consult VAR and award a penalty. Vitinha stepped up in the 69th minute, but his effort lacked conviction and was saved by Raya, keeping Arsenal’s hopes alive.
PSG, however, quickly shook off the disappointment. In the 72nd minute, Achraf Hakimi won the ball near the edge of the area and combined with Ousmane Dembélé, who gave it back to Hakimi, who was quick slotting the ball into the bottom left corner to make it 2-0.
Arsenal pulled one back in the 76th minute. Leandro Trossard’s burst into the box caused confusion, and after a deflection, the ball landed at the feet of Bukayo Saka. From a tight angle, Saka squeezed the ball past Gianluigi Donnarumma to reignite hope for the visitors.
Despite the goal, Arsenal couldn’t mount a full comeback in the closing minutes. PSG held their shape and composure, managing the game effectively to ensure passage to the final.
