PSG have reportedly submitted a €50m offer for Atalanta’s striker Rasmus Hojlund.
This puts the French team neck in neck with Manchester United, who are also fighting for the 20-year-old signature.
Atalanta are allegedly requiring €70m for the Danish international, a figure the French team sees as unrealistic and according to reports, they will withdraw from the competition if their offer is not accepted.
However the team has had positive talks with the youngster regarding personal terms.
The Red Devils are keen on signing a new striker after their bids for Harry Kane and Victor Osimhen were unsuccessful.
“We never talk about players under contract with another club. We have our targets. We are 24/7, we are busy with it, with the right player to sign a contract with us.” manager Erik Ten Hag said.
PSG are also on the lookout for a new striker after Kylian Mbappe’s announcement he will not renew his contract and is likely to leave Paris.
