Liverpool forward Mohamed Salah may go to the French champion Paris Saint-Germain, according to Sports Zone.
Paris club president Nasser Al-Khelaifi held a meeting with the 31-year-old in Morocco. The source claims the two are in active contact after the World Cup in Qatar this winter. Al-Khelaifi sees Salah as a replacement for Argentina striker Lionel Messi. However, it is noted that it will be difficult to complete a transfer deal for the Egyptian.
Salah played 38 games for Liverpool last season, scoring 19 goals and providing 12 assists. The contract with the English club is until the summer of 2025 and is valued at around 70 million euros.
The only thing more enticing for the Egyptian to a possible move to the French giants would be the fact that the Parisians will be competing in the Champions League next campaign, while Liverpool finished fifth in the Premier League and will miss out on the tournament.
