Chelsea's midfielder is on the verge of leaving Stamford Bridge

Christian Pulisic has arrived in Italy for a medical with AC Milan ahead of an expected move from Chelsea.

The attacking midfielder has a year left on his contract with Chelsea and the Blues are willing to sell him now, before he becomes free agent.

Pulisic is expected to sign a 4-year-deal with the 7-time Champions League winners, which will make him only the third American to play for the Rossoneri.

“I’m very happy to be here. I’m excited. I’m excited to start with this historic club,” Pulisic said at the airport. “It’s legendary and I’m really excited to come here and try to win some titles here.”

The transfer fee is undisclosed, but it is believed to be around 20 million euros, according to the Gazzetta della Sport.

Pulisic won the Champions League, European Super Cup and Club World Cup with Chelsea, but never truly got going in England due to injuries.
