Christian Pulisic’s new deal at AC Milan is right now in “stand-by phase”, as the American footballer sees no renewal meetings lined up by his club.
The USMNT footballer joined Milan in the summer 2 years ago from Chelsea, after triumphing with the UCL title at Stamford Bridge. The American scored 15 goals in his debut season in Serie A, before netting even more in his 2nd campaign as he finished with 17 goals.
Because of that fact, everyone expected that Pulisic would soon sign a new deal as his contract is until 2027 and features an option for an additional year.
The Milano giants want to add at least 1 more season to that contract, but an extension has not been signed. The team didn’t qualify for the European tournaments in the past campaign, and now the American star wants to see how the team will perform under Max Allegri.
Pulisic already has scored and assisted 8 times this season, but has been dealing with a hamstring problem lately. He could make his return to the group when his team faces Parma away from home this weekend and the hopes are that he will be on the pitch even if he had to come from the bench.
