Brock (23) played in the final 5 matches of the 2022 campaign for San Francisco after 3rd overall selection in past season’s draft. Trey Lance and then-backup Jimmy Garappolo were unavailable.
“Purdy’s been cleared; he is not limited anymore,” the general manager said. “Having shared that, we’re sticking to a plan we activated not long ago.”
The head coach of the NFL franchise from the Bay, Kyle Shanahan, claimed that Purdy would run the 1st-team offense when he is ready to do it.
“Today, Brock took part in the training, so on Wednesday, he won’t practice the other guys will do the same thing as OTAs, so they’ll both go with the ones,” Kyle shared.
The 49ers manager also added that Purdy will be at 100% in a few weeks.
