Juventus emerged victorious in their clash against Roma 1-0 to close the gap on Serie A leaders Inter on Saturday night.
Adrien Rabiot’s second-half goal was more than enough to secure victory over Jose Mourinho’s side and help Juve finish the year second with 43 points out of 18 matches.
Inter had drawn 1-1 against Genoa on Friday, so Max Allegri’s men were keen on getting the full 3 points.

Roma were the team with more possession, but they were unable to create anything threatening. Instead, the Old Lady was the side with more chances and they could have gone 2-0 up through Federico Chiesa, but the offside flag went up.
The Romans remain 7th and finish a difficult 2023 with mixed feelings.
