The cornerback, who is 32 years old, had 2 stints with the Rams, playing a total 6 years in California. Darious was a part of LA’s Super Bowl LVI-winning team 5 years ago.
In 100 regular-campaign matches, he had 12 interceptions, 77 passes defended, and 306 total tackles.
After triumphing in the Super Bowl with the Rams, Darious inked a 3-year contract with the Jags. Williams was released after 2 campaigns and inked a new contract with Los Angeles. He had 1 campaign remaining on that deal.
Along with Darious’ retirement, Los Angeles has 4 CBs who are pending free agents. The Rams added to the room a few days ago, agreeing to trade for All-Pro CB Trent McDuffie on Wednesday.
