The Catalan giants could soon count on Raphinha as he begins the final phase of his recovery from a hamstring problem. The Brazilian star has been out for 6 weeks, almost double the time as first expected, but is expected to resume training with his teammates now and could be in the group for the upcoming game with Celta Vigo.
Raphinha was on the pitch for the last time vs. Real Oviedo in the past month, suffering a hamstring problem that was initially expected to sideline him for less than a month. However, different problems during his recovery prolonged his absence from the pitch.
The Brazilian sustained his problem in the middle of the 2nd half vs. Real Oviedo, forcing him off in visible discomfort. It was expected that he would be able to return on time to play in El Clásico, but that didn’t happen, and he watched his side lose 2-1 to Real Madrid.
