The Toronto Raptors are in frantic search for a new manager after firing title-winning boss Nick Nurse earlier in April.
A surprise candidate has emerged as the Toronto team, according to reports, is looking into the possibility of hiring ESPN analyst JJ Redick.

Redick stated his desire to become coach one day in a podcast. After retiring from the NBA 2 years ago the 38-year-old has launched a successful media career, which got popularized through his podcast, his appearance as a studio analyst for ESPN and his job as a color commentator on NBA games for the network.
The Raptors were left with no choice but to fire Nick Nurse, with whom they lifted the 2019 NBA title, but who also failed to take them to the playoffs in the 4 campaigns after that.
