Toronto Raptors are looking certain to re-sign guard Immanuel Quickley on a five-year, $175 million contract, ESPN reports. 25-years-old Quickley joined the Raptors alongside R.J. Barrett in a December 30, 2023, trade from the New York Knicks, which saw forward OG Anunoby and two other players move to New York.
Quickley made a significant impact, averaging 18.6 points, 6.8 assists, and 4.8 rebounds in 38 starts for Toronto. This was an improvement from his time with the Knicks, where he averaged 15.0 points, 2.5 assists, and 2.6 rebounds in 30 games off the bench.
In 2020 he was named to the All-Rookie team in the 2020-21 season. Over his career, he has averaged 13.7 points, 3.4 rebounds, and 3.5 assists in 291 games, with 65 starts. He is also known for his three-point shooting, having made 594 three-pointers at a 37.5% success rate.
