The Baltimore Ravens head-coach John Harbaugh hasn’t ruled out a return of cornerback Marcus Peters to the team.
The Baltimore team invested heavily for that position, luring Rock Ya-Sin after making it to the draft in the fifth round. But the manager was against the prejudice that the position is done and dusted, implying that his team always strives for more talent.
“I would say no,” he said after being question whether the arrival of Ya-Sin eliminates the option of bying new players.
“I don’t think you ever really close the door on any personnel move. Whoever it might be. You’d probably ask me about Marcus (Peters) and whatever other corners are out there. You don’t close the door on good players and good people, you just see how it goes.”
Peters is still available as free agent after spending 4 years with the Baltimore team.
He has 32 career interceptions with six returned for touchdowns, 92 passes defensed and 11 forced fumbles, but he hasn’t featured in a Pro Bowl campaign since his arrival. He missed the majority of 2021 campaign with torn ACL and returned last season to play 13 games.
