Lamar Jackson threw 2 touchdown passes, Gus Edwards ran for another TD, and the Baltimore Ravens won against Cincinnati Bengals 27-24 at Paycor Stadium in Cincinnati, OH.
The AFC North champ Cincinnati fell to 0-2 for 2nd consecutive campaign. Baltimore (2-0), their division rival, looked like the better franchise on Sunday.
The Ravens QB was 24 for 33 for 237 yards. Lamar ran for 54 more, and Edwards, who will be on the field a lot more during the current season because of J.K. Dobbins’ campaign-ending injury, finished with 62 yards on 10 carries.
Cincinnati QB Joe Burrow, who still seems not like himself, and the reason for that might be the calf injury he suffered during the practice camp, finished 27 for 41 for 222 yards and 2 touchdowns after passing for only 86 in the campaign-opener defeat to Browns.
Baltimore will play against the Colts next Sunday at home, while Cincinnati will welcome the LA Rams on Monday, September 25th.
