Baltimore Ravens QB Lamar Jackson returned to training today, making a huge step toward being on the field from the 1st minute at the end of the weekend against the Browns in Cleveland.
The Baltimore quarterback, who is 2-time NFL MVP, missed yesterday’s training because of a knee problem. But Lamar is back on the field today and showed that he no longer has such problems.
At the beginning of today’s Ravens’ training, Lamar jogged onto the field without any limp. He also ran from drill to drill, and there is optimism that he could start on Sunday in Cleveland.
Lamar sustained a knee injury during the past weekend’s 27-19 victory against the Vikings, where he had been targeted the whole match. Jackson was hit 11 times by Minnesota, including 1 time that resulted in a roughing the passer penalty on Dallas Turner.
Baltimore will try to win the upcoming match vs. the Browns, but they have lost 3 of their last 4 visits against them in Cleveland. Ravens (4-5) are only 1 match back of the 1st-place Pittsburgh Steelers (5-4) in the AFC North.
