Lamar Jackson will miss Sunday’s match vs. the Texans with a hamstring problem, the latest bad news for the struggling Baltimore Ravens.
Lamar, a 2-time NFL MVP, will miss his 1st match because of an injury since a wild-card defeat against the Bengals at the beginning of 2023. Ravens’ record is 4-10 without him since 2018, averaging 16.6 points per match.
Cooper Rush will debut from the 1st minute on the field for Baltimore (1-3), who can’t count on a lot of players after their worst beginning in a decade. There are 9 footballers on the organization’s injury list, and the team ruled out 4 Pro Bowlers from the past season: the quarterback, LB Roquan Smith, CB Marlon Humphrey, and FB Patrick Ricard.
“I have experience in this kind of situation,” shared Rush. “Whenever an organization quarterback can’t play, it’s always very dramatic, no matter where you play. That is normal, and if you need to play the next game, it is better to know earlier and have a few days to prepare. So, I’m ready to do my best and try to win games for my team.”
