Real Madrid clinched the Spanish Super Cup trophy by defeating arch-rival FC Barcelona 4-1 in the tournament’s final stage on Sunday at the Al-Awwal Stadium in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
Maintaining their lead throughout the game, Real Madrid secured the victory with Rodrygo Silva de Goes scoring the fourth goal in the 64th minute.
In the first half alone, Real Madrid dominated with a 3-1 lead, courtesy of Vinicius Jr’s remarkable hat-trick. Vinicius Jr opened the scoring in the 7th minute, and although Lewandowski pulled one back for Barcelona in the 33rd minute, Vinicius responded with two more goals.

Yellow cards were issued to players from both teams, with Real Madrid’s Bellingham and Barcelona’s Sergi Roberto receiving cautions. Real Madrid earned a penalty in the 37th minute following Araujo’s challenge on Vinicius, resulting in the third goal.
This marked the second encounter between the rival teams in the Super Cup’s final. The two La Liga giants faced off for the third time on foreign soil in a year, with Barcelona winning last January’s final 3-1, also in Riyadh, and defeating Madrid 3-0 in a friendly in the United States in July.
