Real Madrid are keenly interested in acquiring Roberto de Zerbi from Brighton as their new head coach after Carlo Ancelotti departs at the end of this season, reports say.
The big Italian is on his way out of Real Madrid and the news emerged early enough to give the team plenty of time to consider the option for a replacement.
🚨 Roberto De Zerbi and Bayer Leverkusen boss Xabi Alonso are contenders to replace Carlo Ancelotti should he leave Real Madrid when his contract expires at the end of the season.

Couple of names have circulated such as Bayer Leverkusen coach Xabi Alonso, but according to Cadena, prime candidate for the spot is de Zerbi, whose attractive style of play has caught the eye of the big European clubs.
The Italian has had an incredible spell at the Seagulls since taking over Graham Potter, finishing 6th last year and securing an European spot.
This campaign Brighton look even more menacing as they sit 3rd in the league with 5 wins out of 6 games. Only Manchester City and Liverpool are ahead of the Seagulls, despite all of the players they sold over the summer.
