A missed call in the crucial minutes of yesterday night’s clash between the Detroit Lions and Dallas Cowboys led to an even higher-profile error in what has escalated to show that the league has a problem with the referees.
Some, if not all, of Brad Allen’s referee crew from Saturday’s Lions-Cowboys game is expected to be downgraded and excluded from officiating playoff games, per @AdamSchefter. pic.twitter.com/ax10zsClew

The problem with the official Brad Allen and his crew- involving an overturned 2-point conversion by Detroit – may have been avoided if not for another mistake on Dallas’s previous possession.
Brad and his crew will be punished and will not be part of the playoffs after the mistakes that they made that cost the Lions the victory against the Cowboys.
The officiating team also drew criticism in Week 15 when they missed Cleveland’s pass-rusher Za’Darius Smith’s hit on Chicago’s QB Justin Fields. That definitely shows that the NFL has a problem with its referees, and they must focus on resolving it.
