Arsenal star Declan Rice has admitted struggling with the pressure of the huge transfer sum that the Gunners paid for him to West Ham.
The best clubs in the world wanted Declan during the summer, and after the Sky Blues failed with a bid of 105 million dollars, the Gunners made an irresistible offer of 120 million dollars that the Hammers accepted, and Rice became the most expensive English footballer ever.
“When the transfer was going through I was very nervous because of the price tag.”

Rice has been playing fantastically since the beginning of the campaign, starting each of the Gunners’ 12 league matches so far as the side from Emirates is in the 3rd place in the Premier League, just 1 point behind the leader Manchester City.
“When the transfer was happening, I was very nervous because of the enormous sum,” Rice admitted to The Telegraph. “It’s normal to think about that. You’re a human being bought for 120 million dollars, it doesn’t feel real!”
