Saleh’s future has been a concern after the Jets’ somewhat underwhelming 2023 campaign, but an Insider shares there are no indications of major changes.
New York’s owner Woody Johnson came out with a statement that he intends to keep Saleh and general manager Joe Douglas at their positions.
“My decision is to keep them. I think we’ve had some very positive moves. The culture of the team is a lot better. The defense is better. The offense needs a few pieces,” Johnson said.
The Jets were considered title contenders, when they made a blockbuster deal for quarterback Aaron Rodgers back in April. But those aspirations soon faded away as Rodgers was hit with a torn Achilles tendon.
