NY York Jets QB Aaron Rodgers moved 1 step closer to a miracle return, as he was clearer today to return to training – exactly 11 weeks after his operation to repair a torn ACL.
By rule, the NFL organization from the Big Apple has 3 weeks to decide whether to activate Aaron from injured reserve. That will end on December 20th, 4 days before they play against the Washington Commanders – the clash that he shared is his target to be back on the field.

It’s an unprecedented comeback by Rodgers, who will be 40 years old in a few days on Saturday, but that doesn’t mean Aaron is cleared for contact yet. That will be the final step that will allow the legendary quarterback to return this campaign from ACL surgery.
Aaron will most likely be limited to light drills in training. Manager Robert Saleh admitted the QB is cleared for functional football activity but not cleared for contact.
