Follow usNFL veteran Aaron Rodgers is hoping to make a surprising injury comeback before the end of the current season as he is ready to have an ‘innovative’ surgery.
The 39-year-old American football legend was previously ruled out for the entire season after tearing his Achilles. Rodgers suffered a serious injury within his first two minutes of action for new team the New York Jets.
It definitely wasn’t the dream debut as he had to be helped off the field after only a few minutes of play, with a video of the incident showing his tendon popping as he pivoted in an attempt to avoid a tackle.

The original expectations were that the Jets would be without their all-star signing for the entire campaign, but they have now been given hope of a miraculous return. According to NFL Network, Rodgers is in recovery after an innovative surgical procedure in Los Angeles which aims to ‘accelerate the normal rehabilitation process’ for a torn ligament.
