Rudi Garcia denies rumors that Osimhem is unhappy at Napoli

Napoli team boss Rudi Garcia has shrugged claims that star player Victor Osimhen is not committed to the team.

Such rumors occurred after Osimhen was subjected by controversial social media videos by Napoli. It went as far as his agent to claim he will take legal actions against the Serie A champions.

The Nigerian scored the second goal in Napoli’s 4-1 win over Udinese, but refused to celebrate as a result of the soured relationship.

“I can assure you that Victor loves this jersey,” Garcia said “He is invested 100 per cent in our project.”

“I have a very good relationship with Victor. I am happy for him because he scored tonight.”

The two had a heated moment during the goalless draw against Bologna after Osimhen was substituted. But Garcia played down the situation, stating that it was just a bust-up in the heat of the moment.
