Jack Quinn and Dylan Cozens scored for Buffalo; Owen Power and JJ Peterka each had two assists. Goaltender Craig Anderson had 25 saves as the Sabres registered their only second win in eight games.
The star of the show was undoubtedly Alex Touch, who scored two goals on his return from injury.
The Sabers were 2-0 down early on in the second period, but managed to score 4 consecutive goals in a span of only 27 minutes.
Auston Matthews had a goal and two assists for Toronto. William Nylander and Calle Jarnkrok also scored as Mitch Marner had two assists and goaltender Matt Murray stopped 25 shots.
