The New York boss admitted that his team should’ve done better after losing Aaron.

From appointing a new offensive coordinator to the inking of free agents, the NY Jets focused its 2023 campaign mainly on 1 player – QB Aaron Rodgers.

While manager Robert Saleh shared he had no regrets even though he lost its superstar quarterback to an ACL injury on the 4th play of the campaign, he admitted that the organization could’ve done a better job of performing better even without Aaron.

“When you have a Hall of Fame QB, you’re going to sign players to make him better, period,” the Jets head coach claimed. “That’s a very common thing throughout the NFL. It’s not something that our franchise only did. That’s leaguewide.

“Could we have done things in a better way? I’m telling myself and the coaching staff, ‘All right, this is our worst-case scenario; now what?’ Without a doubt, it’s that we learned and face better next season.”
