Saleh: ‘Jets could’ve done better without Rodgers’

From appointing a new offensive coordinator to the inking of free agents, the NY Jets focused its 2023 campaign mainly on 1 player – QB Aaron Rodgers.

While manager Robert Saleh shared he had no regrets even though he lost its superstar quarterback to an ACL injury on the 4^th play of the campaign, he admitted that the organization could’ve done a better job of performing better even without Aaron.

“When you have a Hall of Fame QB, you’re going to sign players to make him better, period,” the Jets head coach claimed. “That’s a very common thing throughout the NFL. It’s not something that our franchise only did. That’s leaguewide.

“Could we have done things in a better way? I’m telling myself and the coaching staff, ‘All right, this is our worst-case scenario; now what?’ Without a doubt, it’s that we learned and face better next season.”
