Argentina national team manager Lionel Scaloni has shared the group of 24 footballers that he called for the upcoming friendly game vs. Angola in a couple of days, and Inter Miami duo Leo Messi and Rodrigo De Paul are among the selected.
The head coach of the team didn’t call any footballers from Argentina’s Primera Division after the matches will continue during the international break this month.

“We discussed with Argentina’s boss that footballers from Argentine football teams that are playing crucial games in the league are not part of the squad,” shared the president of the federation, Claudio Tapia.
Aston Villa goalkeeper Emi Martinez was also not called up for the friendly against Angola in Africa on November 14th.
Messi and De Paul, however, are part of the selection despite the conflict of the calendar in the MLS, as Inter Miami could have playoff matches during that period. If the Floridian team beats Nashville SC this weekend, the team could advance to the East Conference ½ finals on November 22nd or 23rd.
