A win at the 2024 Masters seemed without a doubt for Scottie Scheffler.
The Texan has been world number 1 for more than 80 weeks during his short career. Scottie triumphed 8 times on the PGA Tour since February 2022, a stretch that saw him become the 1st player ever to took home the Players Championship in back-to-back seasons.
He is labeled as perhaps golf’s best ball striker since Tiger Woods during his best years.
Until the end of this edition of the Masters, he had only one major championship trophy, the 2022 Masters, which might have been the only reason that he was not seen as the golfers’ next generational star.
After beginning the final day of the Masters at Augusta National Golf Club leading by 1 shot, Scottie ran away from the other golfers on the 2nd nine to wear a 2nd green jacket in 3 editions.
“I believe I’m showing my best game at the moment,” Scheffler shared after the victory.
Scottie Scheffler, the #1 golfer in the world who just won #TheMasters, has shared his faith in Christ and Jesus’ victory on the cross 4 separate times in his post-win press conference.
