Seattle Seahawks plan to appoint ex-Buffalo Bills DC Leslie Frazier as their assistant HC.
Leslie becomes the 1st assistant known to be appointed to Mike Macdonald’s staff. The 2 will work together again in the Seahawks after their period with the Baltimore Ravens in 2016 when Macdonald was the defensive assistant, and Frazier was the secondary coach.
I just spoke directly to Leslie Frazier. He told me within the hour he’s decided to accept the offer from the #Seahawks to be their next assistant head coach. @TomPelissero reported the team first.

Mike, appointed a few days ago after spending the last 2 campaigns as Raven’s defensive coordinator, is the league’s youngest head coach at 36. Leslie (64) brings over 2 decades of National Football League experience to Seattle. Frazier worked as DC for 4 different organizations, most recently doing it in Buffalo from 2017 to ’22 while also being named assistant head coach from 2020 to ’22.
Leslie was also the Minnesota Vikings’ boss from 2011 to ’13. He didn’t coach in the past season.
