Seattle inks Yamamoto to 1-year, $1.5M deal

The Seattle Kraken added Kailer Yamamoto to the roster as he inked a 1-year, 1.5 million dollar contract, the franchise shared today.

Detroit Red Wings bought out Kailer a few days ago as he landed in Detroit after a trade with the Edmonton Oilers.

Yamamoto (24) notched 10 goals and earned 25 points in 58 matches with the Edmonton past campaign. He scored 1 goal and had 4 points in 12 postseason matches before the Vegas Golden Knights eliminated the Canadian team in 6 clashes during the 2^nd round.

Kailer suffered twice from undisclosed problems and missed much time in the last campaign as he was unavailable for Edmonton in 24 matches in the NHL.
