The Mariners player will miss the rest of the season.

Seattle Mariners LHP Robbie Ray will be unavailable till the end of the season after only 1 kickoff.

Ray will need surgery to fix his flexor tendon and can’t be on the field till the end of the year. So the head coach of the team, Scott Servais, told the press today.

His only match this season was on March 31st in the defeat against Cleveland Guardians 9-4. Robbie spent only 3 innings and had 91 pitches against Guardians.

He has been on the Mariners’ injury list since that day and now is clear that Ray will no longer be available during the season. Robbie is playing his 2nd season with Seattle of a 5-year contract with the franchise.
