The Old Lady showed class and deservingly triumphed

Juventus came out on top against their city rivals Torino 2-0 with two second half goals on Saturday.

The Old Lady had a very sluggish start and did not create anything threatening in the first half.

However, all of that changed as 2 goals from corner kicks secured the home side’s victory to send him 3rd in the Serie A table.

The Bianconeri pulled in front through Federico Gatti, a boyhood fan of Torino, just 2 minutes into the second half. The goal was initially called offside, but video replays showed that everything was fine and the goal stood.

Just after the hour mark, the score was doubled when Arkadiusz Milik beat the Torino goalkeeper to the ball and headed home.

With the win Max Allegri’s men continue their decent start of 2023-24 season as they have now bagged 17 points out of possible 24. Torino, on the other hand, slip down to 12th.
