The Mexican driver managed to past the Ferrari and got 8 championship points
Sergio Perez won Azerbaijan Sprint race on Saturday, clinching 8 valuable championship points in the 17-lap race.
Charles Leclerc who started on pole was able to hold off Perez for just 7 laps before the Red Bull driver past him on the main straight.
Third finished the second Red Bull in the hands of Max Verstappen, who had a damage on his car after lap 1 incident with George Russell.
Alpha Tauri’ s Yuki Tsunoda had a big incident hitting the wall on lap, loosing one of his tires, which brought a VSC and a full Safety Car later on. The top 8 was finished by George Russel, Carlos Sainz, Fernando Alonso, Lewis Hamilton and Lance Stroll.
