Shohei Ohtani’s participation in the All-Star Game on Tuesday night turned out to be uneventful.
However the Angels’ starlet has certainly taken notes from the loud cheers from the crowd, urging him to join Seattle on a free agency.

“Every time I come here the fans are passionate, they’re really into the game. So it’s very impressive,” Ohtani said. “I actually spent a couple offseasons in Seattle. So I like the city. It’s beautiful.”
Ohtani’s likely free agency has been the hot topic recently with many teams battling it out for his signature.
The Angels are currently on a five-game losing streak and nine of 10 to drop below .500. L.A. team said they have no intention of dealing with Ohtani prior to the trade deadline, but that could change over the next few weeks.
“I’m not really going to change anything personally, just keep it the same,” Ohtani said. “I know we have a lot of injuries right now and we’re in a tough spot, but we need to hang in there because we got guys coming back soon. So try to hang in there and get as many wins until all the guys come back.”
