Jannick Sinner won the ATP 500 title in Vienna (Austria) with a prize fund of 2.56 million euros.
The second-ranked Italian prevailed in the final over Russian Daniil Medvedev 7:6(7), 4:6, 6:3 in just over three hours of play. In the first set, the two exchanged one break each, and Medvedev had a set point in the tiebreak, but Sinner made three points in a row and won 9:7.
The Russian started the second part pumped up and after two breaks got a lead of 5:2 to win 6:4.

The decisive third set was neck in neck again, but Sinner was more stable in the key plays and managed to win 6:3. The title is Sinner’s tenth on the ATP tour, and his victory against Medvedev is his second in a row in the final, after the Italian prevailed against the Russian in the title match in Beijing at the beginning of the month.
