Liverpool manager has given an injury update on Alexander Isak, Jeremie Frimpong, and Alisson before the UCL match with Real Madrid at Anfield tomorrow. Arne Slot’s side will want to win straight matches after they ended a bad run with a 2-0 victory against Aston Villa during the past weekend. After the clash vs. Los Blancos, Liverpool will face Man City in the league.

Isak has played 8 games so far for Liverpool and has scored only once. The Swedish goal scorer sustained an adductor injury that is keeping him out of the pitch. Slot today confirmed that his record signing will be out for tomorrow’s match vs. the Royal club, as Frimpong and Alisson are also sidelined with injuries. The duo will also not play against the Sky Blues this weekend, while for Isak, there is still hope that he will be able to help his team.
“I don’t think about the match against Manchester City yet and which players will be on the pitch then, as my only focus is on tomorrow’s clash vs. Real Madrid,” Slot shared.
