Arne doesn’t know how it is possible for the Reds to be in such dreadful form.

Liverpool head coach Arne Slot has revealed he is been left baffled by his side’s disappointing results lately in all tournaments. The defending Premier League champs were defeated in 7 of their last 8 games in all tournaments, as the latest setback came at Anfield when PSV beat them 4-1 in the Champions League.

“The awful results are shocking for everyone,” claimed Slot. “For the footballers, for me. I’m not easily surprised, but I can’t understand what is happening. We must get better individually, including myself.”

“With each loss it gets closer to being a crisis,” revealed ex-Liverpool captain Steven Gerrard. “In my opinion, the team is not there yet, as the crisis is a very strong word.”

“You can’t find excuses after matches like this tonight at Liverpool. You must admit that the club is struggling massively, and its results are awful. Slot must find a solution very soon, or this awful run will continue,” added Gerrard.

The Reds manager claimed that he doesn’t think about his future and that he is only focused on improving the team.
