Gareth Southgate has claimed he most probably will leave as England head coach if his team fail to win the European Championship in Germany.

His deal expires at the end of the calendar year, despite that the FA would offer him an extension.
Gareth (53), who became the Three Lions manager in 2016, reached the ½ finals at the 2018 World Cup and lost the Euro 2020 final after a shootout against Italy at Wembley.
England was sent home at the World Cup in Qatar at the ¼ finals by France. That overall competition record, combined with a team full of superstars like Jude Bellingham, Cole Palmer, and Harry Kane, will be considered a failure any other result than winning the Euro 2024.
He almost quit his position after the tournament in Qatar as he had serious doubts if he is the right coach for the future, but decided to stay and the question will be raised again after the Euro 2024.
