Spain kicked-off their Euro 2024 qualifiers with 3-0 win over Norway in Malaga. The Scandinavians were missing their big star Erling Haaland, who suffered an injury, which keeps him on the sidelines for this international break.
The Spaniards opened the scoring in the 13 minute when Alejandro Balde did a terrific job in the build-up and found Dani Olmo, who scored past Nyland for 1-0.
Around the half-hour mark both teams had chances to score, but Aursness was denied by Arrizabalaga, while Mikel Merino’s shot was also saved by the opposition goalkeeper.

In the 56 minute Pedersen tried his luck with a nice shot, but the ball was blocked by a defender. Six minutes before full-time Joselu collected a cross and planted a precise header inside the left post.
Just two minutes later he scored a second goal for the final 3-0 result. Spain will play Scotland on Tuesday in their second game of the group and Norway will face Georgia away.
