Spain continued their dominant run at Euro 2024 with a solid victory over Albania, maintaining their perfect record and eliminating Albania from the tournament. The 1-0 win also ensured that England, France, and the Netherlands secured their spots in the last 16.
Ferran Torres, formerly of Manchester City and now playing for Barcelona, scored the decisive goal in the 13th minute. He finished low into the corner from a precise pass by Dani Olmo, with the ball bouncing in off the post.

Albania had their chances, notably through Kristjan Asllani’s powerful 25-yard strike that required a fine save from Spain goalkeeper David Raya, who was on loan at Arsenal from Brentford last season.
Raya also performed well to deny Fulham striker Armando Broja’s shot on the turn. Despite their efforts, Albania could not find an equalizer and finished at the bottom of Group B, while Spain marched confidently into the knockout stages.
