Ex-Toronto Maple Leafs attacker Jason Spezza, who became a special assistant to the GM after his retirement, left his position with the franchise today.
Jason’s resignation came to Toronto president Brendan Shanahan before his press conference, where he spoke about how the GM Kyle Dubas will not keep his job after the end of the season.

Spezza spent 3 years with the franchise, joining the Maple Leafs in 2019. He recorded 183 matches and notched 31 goals with 49 assists.
His NHL career includes 1,248 regular season matches with the Ottawa Senators, Dallas Stars, and Toronto, and he had 363 goals and 632 assists.
