The 18-year-old has been scouted by a number of EPL and top European clubs after a superb breakthrough season in the Championship.
Archie appeared in 44 matches in the 2nd-tier of English football and in an additional 8 in all tournaments as Leeds came up with a shot of returning to the Premier League as they lost the play-off final at Wembley 1-0 against the Saints.
Brentford were closing on a contract worth 40 million pounds + add-ons for Archie but Leeds and the Bees can’t agree on the payment structure for the teenager.
Spurs now swooped in to try and agree a contract of their own, as Gray prefers to play for Tottenham despite already undergone a medical with the Bees and the chances to join the North London team are very high right now.
