Tomlin expects Aaron to be on the field against the Bills.

Pittsburgh Steelers boss Mike Tomlin shared he thinks Aaron Rodgers will be ready for next week’s match after his team was defeated 31-28 today vs. the Bears.

Aaron, who fractured his left wrist vs. the Bengals in the past week, was not active vs. Chicago and did not serve as emergency 3rd QB. Mason Rudolph replaced him today.

“I believe that Rodgers would be able to start vs. Buffalo next week,” the Steelers manager revealed. “Aaron had problems through the week, and Rudolph was at his best, and that’s why I decided that it’s not worth risking him by playing today.”

Pittsburgh’s head coach shared that he decided yesterday that Rodgers will not play, and he told Mason to prepare to start against the Bears. However, some of Aaron’s teammates revealed that they found out today that the veteran QB would not play, including Zach Frazier.

“I didn’t know until a few hours before the match that Aaron would be out,” the center claimed. “However, that didn’t affect the offense as we are ready to play with both QBs.” Added Frazier.
